Pros - easy to distribute and scale, low cost per user

Cons - not very engaging, can easily be forgotten straight after the online test

Face to face (small groups)

Pros - interactive and engaging, especially without PowerPoint

Cons - expensive, but is there value in the higher cost

Launch events/Seminars

Pros - large scale, lower cost per user than some methods

Cons - not very engaging, can easily be forgotten especially if run after a heavy bonding session the night before

Power Hours

Pros - interactive, focused, engaging and short, can be delivered by sales management

Cons - best for re-enforcement and practice of ideas and behaviours rather than lots of training

DVD/CD

Pros - large scale, easy to distribute and scale, low cost per user

Cons - not very engaging, can easily be forgotten

On the job training

Pros - gives real life experience and allows coaching and shadowing

Cons - low cost, often used as an excuse to avoid really thinking about the training needs
